Bucs working out veteran TE Shiancoe, RB Hillis
TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may do some more roster tweaking in the hours leading up to the start of training camp. With players due to report early Wednesday, the Bucs were working out veteran tight end Visanthe Shiancoe and veteran running back Peyton Hillis, according to the National Football Post. Shiancoe, 33, spent the first four years of his career with the New York Giants and the next five with the Minnesota Vikings but is coming off a 2012 season with the New England Patriots in which he did not make a catch in four games. Hillis is a five-year veteran who had a breakout year for the Cleveland Browns in 2010, running for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns. Since then he has run 246 times for 896 yards over two seasons for Cleveland and Kansas City.
