Bucs offer dual half-season ticket plans to lure fans
TAMPA - In an effort to increase home attendance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday announced the launch of a half-season ticket plan that offers fans a chance to purchase one of two five-game groupings. "We're leaving no stone unturned in our efforts to maximize home-field advantage. The half-season plan is designed to give a greater number of Bucs fans more chances to come out and support their team on Sundays," said Brian Ford, vice president of business administration. Fans interested in purchasing a plan may choose one of the two options detailed below, each containing one preseason and four regular-season home games. The Red Plan includes both the home opener honoring CB Ronde Barber's 200th consecutive start (Sept. 9 vs. Carolina) and the popular throwback game (Oct. 21 vs. New Orleans), in addition to games against Tennessee, Washington and San Diego. The Pewter Plan is highlighted by the Ring of Honor Game (Oct. 14 vs. Kansas City) and a Dec. 9 matchup versus Philadelphia where the Bucs will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Super Bowl XXXVII championship, as well as battles with New England, division rival Atlanta and St. Louis. Each plan offers a savings off of individual game ticket pricing, being priced between the cost of single-game tickets and full season pass membership, and fans can select seats in various General or Stadium Club sections of the stadium.
