TAMPA — Jason Dial, the chief marketing officer of the Buccaneers, resigned his post, team officials said Tuesday.
Dial informed his staff of the decision to leave and take another job on Monday but citing a confidentiality agreement, he has not told staff members or some team officials of his plans.
“We are grateful to Jason for his hard work here over the past couple of seasons and we wish him well in this new career opportunity,” Bucs chief operating officer Brian Ford said in a statement. “Jason was a big part of us maximizing the excitement the community feels towards our team this season.”
Dial could not be reached for comment.
Dial came to the Bucs in August 2011 after spending the previous two years running his own sports marketing and branding firm. Prior to joining the team, he spent nearly 13 years working for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati as its head of global sports marketing.
