Big play target
Something about playing the New England Patriots brings out the best in Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson. He has 15 catches for 306 yards and three touchdowns in his past two games against the Pats. Jackson is looking for his third straight game against New England with at least 100 receiving yards and one touchdown.
By the numbers
The Bucs defense has been rock solid in the red zone this year. They have given up only one touchdown in six red-zone situations for a league-best 83.3-percent success rate and are allowing a league-low 3.17 points per red-zone trip.
Did you know?
The Bucs rank third in the league in total points allowed (34) and average points allowed per game (17.0). Last year the Bucs ranked 23rd in total points allowed (394) and 23rd in average points allowed (24.6).
