Mike Glennon’s effort at Seattle on Sunday was historically outstanding as the third-round draft pick out of North Carolina State posted a passer rating of 123.1, setting a new single-game standard for Tampa Bay rookie quarterbacks.

Josh Freeman Nov. 29, 2009 at Atlanta 118.5 L, 20-17

Injury report

The Bucs held G Davin Joseph (knee) and RB Doug Martin (shoulder) out of Wednesday’s light practice.

“By design, we wanted to rest them and treat them,’’ coach Greg Schiano said. “We kind of did a jog-through and then we had a practice for the older guys with just the ball caps and kind of went through our paces that way. It was just strategically giving those guys treatment.”
