Bucs add K Forbath in Barth's absence
TAMPA - With Connor Barth sitting out the team's first minicamp, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday claimed kicker Kai Forbath off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. Forbath, a UCLA product, was an undrafted free agent with Dallas in 2011 and spent the entire season on the team's reserve/non-football injury list. He won the Lou Groza Award as nation's best kicker as a junior and was named a consensus All-America after his junior season. Barth was designated the Bucs franchise player for 2012, but has yet to sign the one-year contract and was not at the team's first workout.
