TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finalized their first preseason schedule under new head coach Lovie Smith.
The Bucs open their exhibition slate on Friday, Aug. 8 with a 7:30 p.m. road matchup at Jacksonville. Tampa Bay’s opening home game in the Smith era is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 16 against the Dolphins, with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
The third exhibition game will be in Buffalo on Saturday, Aug. 23 at a time to be determined, before the Bucs close out the preseason at home against Washington on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7:30 p.m.
The NFL, meanwhile, will release its regular-season schedule tonight at 8. The release will be televised on NFL Network and ESPN2.
