FORT MYERS -- Chris Archer makes his first start of the spring as the Rays make their first trip of the spring down I-75 to Fort Myers, where they will play the Red Sox at JetBlue Park.
PORT CHARLOTTE -- Brad Miller, Corey Dickerson and Steve Pearce will each make their Rays debuts this afternoon against the Orioles, who visit Charlotte Sports Park for the 1:05 p.m. tilt.
The Rays opened their Grapefruit League schedule against the Washington Nationals on Wednesday in Port Charlotte.
The Rays recognized the military at Wednesday’s Grapefruit League opener versus the Nationals. The team donated 300 tickets through Charlotte County Veterans Services for local veterans and their families to attend the game.
The Rays starters for the first three games of the Grapefruit League schedule are Jake Odorizzi, Erasmo Ramirez and Chris Archer.
