Soccer
WOMEN'S RECREATIONAL SOCCER: Players with Women's Recreational Soccer meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Heather Lakes Soccer Complex, 1850 Windingwood Road, across from Lowe's Home Improvement at Lumsden and Providence roads in Brandon. Baseball
YOUTH BASEBALL REGISTRATION: Registration is open for Little League baseball for Florida District 13. Players ages 16 to 18 who did not participate in a senior baseball division during the spring 2008 Little League season are eligible. The season starts in May. Softball

BRANDON SENIOR SOFTBALL: The Brandon Senior Softball League is looking for men ages 60 and older, and women ages 55 and older. The league plays at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at J.C. COMPETITIVE SENIOR SOFTBALL: The Florida Crackers competitive senior softball team is seeking men ages 60 and older for tournament play. The team usually plays in 12 tournaments annually in places such as Orlando, Lakeland and Fort Myers, though it does not meet for practice. The cost is $25 monthly to cover tournament entry fees. Swimming
SPORTS AND AQUATIC CENTER: Registration is open for swimming lessons at the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center. Classes are offered for adults looking to improve their swimming strokes and increase their endurance, as well as help maintain health and fitness. Classes meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. Cost is $45 per month. There is an annual $10 registration fee for nonmembers. The center also is looking for swimmers ages 18 and older to join its masters swim program to stay fit, improve swim skills or train for competitions. Coach Mio Vasic of the center's Bluewave swim team will provide a free evaluation and direct the program. The cost is $55, or $47 for those with a general membership.
