TAMPA – The fourth annual Tampa Bay Vegan Fest will feature guest speakers, healthy living and ecofriendly vendors, a children's area, live music, films, animal adoptions and vegan food.
The family-friendly event, with free admission, will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Cotanchobee-Fort Brooke Park in downtown Tampa.

The Children's area will have a variety of activities for kids, including coloring and face painting. Shana Banana, star of the children's television program “Banana Bread,” will be featured.
Organizers expect about 5,000 people to attend the event, presented by Florida Voices for Animals, a Tampa Bay-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal-advocacy organization.
