Tempus Projects will partner with Vessel to produce an event series called Folklore, featuring live interviews with the first one taking place at 6:30 p.m. today at Tempus Projects, 4636 N. Florida Ave.
Folklore introduces local artists, musicians, chefs, entrepreneurs and others to those who are interested in hearing about their successes, advice and some of the struggles along the way.
Each event will feature two live interviews with locals from different backgrounds
Tonight’s program features Chef Ferrell Alvarez, co-owner of Rooster & The Till, and Sarah Howard, curator of Public Art and Social Practice at University of South Florida’s Graphicstudio.
Gina Moccio, Vessel’s founder, said Alvarez and Howard have had a hand in shaping Tampa into a vibrant city.
“Folklore is meant to share stories from legendary locals who have invested in Tampa and made the city an exciting place to live in and explore,” Moccio said.
Admission is $5 and includes complimentary light bites and an event-branded coffee mug.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the first interview begins at 7 p.m.
