FishHawk Blvd. reopens after vehicle hits power pole

FishHawk Boulevard in Lithia has been reopened to traffic after a vehicle struck a utility pole, knocking down power lines.

The driver was not injured, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash occurred about noon Tuesday on FishHawk Boulevard between FishHawk Ridge Drive and Osprey Ridge Drive.

Tampa Electric workers were brought in to repair the pole and power lines, the sheriff’s office said.
