David Weekley Buyers Can Enjoy Employee Discount
David Weekley Homes is offering new homes in New Tampa and, until March 31, customers purchasing any David Weekley home in Tampa will receive a 7 percent discount, the same discount given to the company's employees. The company is building in the Outpost Point neighborhood at Grand Hampton, a gated community nestled among nature preserves with Cypress Creek as a backdrop. "Residents can canoe down the scenic Cypress Creek, which is very unique for New Tampa and it is this commitment to environmental preservation that sets Grand Hampton apart," says Jennifer Cole, marketing director for David Weekley. David Weekley is building neo-traditional homes on 50- and 70-foot-wide lots in Outpost Point. Homes on the 50-foot lots provide 2,100 to 2,969 square feet of living space, with six floor plans that feature three to five bedrooms and up to four bathrooms, from which to choose. Homes are priced from $315,000, including lot.Weekley also offers six floor plans on the 70-foot lots. The homes, with 2,695 to 3,779 square feet of living space, are priced from the $310,000s, excluding the lot. The lots can be purchased from the Grand Hampton developer, LandMar. Visitors to the community can check out the recently opened Barra model. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and children's and garage retreats. "The garage retreat is great for people who [work] from home or have relatives visiting," Cole says. She says the garage retreat has been a popular option in David Weekley communities. "In all of our designs, we include LifeDesign, a concept that blends the fundamentals of design, architecture, engineering, physics, psychology and sociology," Cole says. "LifeDesign means a home looks as good as it feels to live in. All of our plans are designed around this concept." Cole says the open floor plans, front porches and numerous decorator choices at the design center are among benefits to buying a David Weekley home at Grand Hampton. Other amenities include the Hampton Club, which boasts an aquatic and fitness center, lighted tennis courts, a playground and a golf-putting course. Weekley's expanded 4,000-square-foot design center and two full-time designers offer home buyers thousands of design choices, Cole says. "Customers can come touch, feel and view what selections we're offering for their community and other elements they can choose for their home that they might not have seen in the model." The design center hosts Preview Night from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays. Since 2001, all David Weekley homes have been built to "healthy home standards, meaning it's a home that's healthy for the environment and for the people who live in it," Cole says. "Through our healthy home program, we take a look at certain construction techniques that minimize energy consumption, discourage water intrusion and improve air quality within your home. We look at it like our healthy home standards make it a better place to live both inside and out." To reach Grand Hampton, take Interstate 75 to the Bruce B. Downs Boulevard exit. Go right and travel several miles to County Line Road. Make a left onto County Line Road; the community is on the left.
