Plant City High club reaches out to help ailing girl, family
PLANT CITY - The Plant City High School Civinettes recently sponsored an Easter basket and family meal for an 8-year-old girl who is receiving radiation treatments. Civinettes, along with Plant City High teachers and members of the community, contributed items for the basket for Natalie Harrell and her family. The Easter basket was loaded with stuffed animals, gift cards, toiletries, jewelry and more, and the Easter meal was complete with a ham, macaroni and cheese, green beans, tea, pound cake, strawberry salad, bread, broccoli and cookies. Family members on hand included Natalie’s mother Shannon and her sister, Emilie, who is a sophomore at Plant City High.
