PLANT CITY A performance by country music singer Chad Warrix wrapped up the third installment of the Heart of Nashville Live concert series.
Warrix, a Nashville singer-songwriter, entertained guests for about 90 minutes with his singing, guitar playing and stories about rubbing elbows with country music legends. He’s among the artists scheduled to play Friday in a tribute concert to the late George Jones.
The Heart of Nashville Live was organized by Focus magazine publisher Mike Floyd, who also brought in shows by Jaida Dreyer and Jesse Keith Whitley.
Floyd said the concert series was successful, and that he plans to resume them in March.
“We plan on continuing it next year,” he said.
