Hope Lutheran welcomes ministry intern
PLANT CITY - Cary Hoff recently joined Hope Lutheran Church as director of Christian education and youth intern. Hoff, an April graduate of Concordia University, will serve a one-year ministry internship at Hope prior to certification as a full time worker in the church body. Concordia, in Texas, is one of 10 universities and two full-time seminaries operated by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. At Hope Lutheran, the Texas native will head the church's Christian education ministries and youth groups. He will work alongside the Rev. Dean Pfeffer, senior pastor of the church at 2001 N. Park Road. "He brings many gifts to us that we know the Lord will use in many and different ways," said Pfeffer, who called him an "outstanding young man."
