Animal services had received an anonymous tip of noise and possible animal cruelty at a home on Colson Road. The dogs included male and females that ranged in ages, animal services said. The dogs were behind a privacy fence. Each dog was restrained by a short, thick metal chain next to a wooden dog house, animal services said. All the dogs have been transported to animal services, which is caring for the dogs. No one has been arrested. The case remains under investigation, according to Marti Ryan, spokeswoman for animal services.
