$1.2 million Plant City road project under way
PLANT CITY - The long-anticipated reconstruction of Mendonsa Road should be completed in late November. The city is spending $1.2 million for storm drains, rebuilt base and new asphalt for the half-mile stretch of road off Alexander Street. The improvements have been discussed for years. Work began in late September. "I'm thinking we'll have this completed around Thanksgiving. Won't that be a good reason to give thanks?" City Manager Greg Horwedel said.
