St. Pete man accused of raping 11-year-old girl
A 22-year-old St. Petersburg man was arrested Tuesday night, accused of raping an 11-year-old girl in 2011. Terrance Brown was arrested on a charge of capital sexual battery. Bail was set at $100,000. In March, the victim told authorities that sometime between her 11th birthday in 2011 and the end of that year, Brown sexually assaulted her, according to court documents made available today. At the time, the girl was living in a house with her mother, three other children and another adult woman. Brown is the son of the woman who was living with the girl’s mother, court documents say.
