St. Pete drug investigation nets 17 arrests
A four-month narcotics investigation by the St. Petersburg Police Vice & Narcotics Division has netted 17 arrests. Those arrested were engaged in dealing of narcotics, including methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, marijuana, Xanax and hydrocodone, detectives said. This morning, narcotics detectives and uniformed personnel began working from a list of 44 suspects. Police arrested eight individuals from the list, and nine others were arrested while officers were investigating.
