Pinellas deputies seeking bank robber

Pinellas County sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a Palm Harbor bank today at gunpoint.

The man walked into the PNC Bank, 32491 U.S. Highway 19 North, at 1:41 p.m. armed with a semi-automatic handgun. He received an undisclosed amount of cash, then left the bank on foot and headed eastbound on Tampa Road.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-6 to 6 feet tall and 160-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with a light-colored long-sleeved shirt and a blue Tampa Bay Rays baseball hat.
