Motorcycle rider dies in Clearwater crash staff

A 22-year-old Clearwater man died this morning in a motorcycle accident in Clearwater when he lost control while riding at a high rate of speed, according to Clearwater police.

About 1:45 a.m., Tye Joshua Ballinger, of 2550 Stag Run Blvd., Apt. 1015, was riding west on State Road 580 in Clearwater when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck a wall, police said.

Ballinger was pronounced dead at the scene
