Clearwater High student charged with bringing gun to school
A 15-year-old student at Clearwater High School was arrested Tuesday after being found with a handgun on campus, police said. Markazell D. Hodges was charged with carrying a concealed firearm on school grounds and disruption of school. According to police, the school went on lockdown at 12:34 p.m. after a student reported to a school resource officer that another student had a handgun, police said. The school was locked down for 10 minutes. The officer located the student in class and found an unloaded .38-caliber handgun along with ammunition, police said.Stay with TBO.com for updates.
