Body of missing Pinellas Park boater found
The body of a Pinellas Park boater who fell overboard on Sunday was found Wednesday afternoon, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said. Sheriff’s deputies and officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife had been searching for Michael Douglas Rhine, 48, since he was boating with his wife and fell overboard while working on the boat’s motor near Bunces Pass, At approximately 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, his body was located near the mouth of Bunces Pass. A private boat found the body as they were coming in from the Gulf of Mexico. The boaters contacted the Coast Guard via marine radio and sheriff’s deputies responded to the location. The medical examiner will complete an autopsy to determine the cause of death, but deputies said the death appeared accidental and not suspicious in nature.The investigation continues.
