Zephyrhills store owner holds her first fashion show
ZEPHYRHILLS - Valerie Troyano of Eva’s Fashion and Photography Studio held her first local fashion show last weekend at the Hometown Theater, followed by a free showing of the movie “Sex and the City.” Thirteen models ages 13 to 80 modeled clothing that can be found in Troyano’s store that, she said, specializes in a blend of new and gently used clothing. The shop, which bears Troyano’s middle name, Eva, also features custom-made jewelry and, of course, photography. “I thought it was great success,” Troyano said. “I saw such a different blend of ages and types. You can be a size 2 or a size 22 and come in (my store) and find something fabulous to wear. We had fun. The response was great.”Some of the models were women she had photographed previously and others were friends and customers. Troyano plans more shows as well as other events such as a make-up workshop at her store. On Thursday, she will have a professional cosmetologist come in and offer tutorials on different methods of applying make-up.
