ZEPHYRHILLS — Seth Youngman, 16, of Zephyrhills, who was injured when his bicycle collided with a car, was released from the hospital Thursday afternoon, according to Zephyrhills Police Capt. Robert McKinney.
The accident occurred at Henry Drive and 10th St. near Zephyrhills High shortly after school was dismissed for the day on Thursday, McKinney said.
Youngman, a freshman at Zephyrhills High, was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa with unspecified injuries.
McKinney said the car was traveling eastbound on Henry Drive when the accident occurred. He said he could not release the accident report or the driver’s name.
McKinney said the accident occurred when Youngman’s bike hit the car.
