Saint Leo alum set to speak

ST. LEO - Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll will speak at one of three commencement ceremonies planned for this weekend at Saint Leo University. Carroll, who received her master's degree in business administration from Saint Leo, will address the 9 a.m. Saturday commencement for graduate degree recipients. The university also is holding a 7 p.m. Friday commencement for graduates of the Center for Online Learning and the Adult Education Center. A third commencement will be at 2 p.m. Saturday for undergraduate degree recipients. Peter P. Smith, a senior vice president for Kaplan Higher Education, will speak at the Friday evening ceremony. Ambassador Edward S. "Ned" Walker, a retired career diplomat, Mideast scholar and professor at Hamilton College in New York, will speak at the Saturday afternoon ceremony.
All three ceremonies will be in the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
