Visitors will enjoy barbecue, adult beverages and hot cocoa at the Swine Terrace, live blues music, a kids’ fun zone by the YMCA, a classic car and motorcycle Show and Shine, aircraft displays, the Zephyrhills Museum of Military History, and business and aviation expos.
Selwyn Birchwood, winner of the 2013 International Blues Challenge, and his band will be among the featured performers.
The blues shows begin at 11 a.m. with returning local favorite Cold Iron, followed by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Ellie Lee and Blues Fury at 12:30 p.m. The Charlie Morris Band will play at 2 p.m., followed by the Selwyn Birchwood Band at 3:30 p.m.

About 40 teams are expected to compete at this year’s Florida State Championship BBQ Contest, sanctioned by the Florida BBQ Association.
Teams come from across the state, as well as the surrounding area, to enter the event. Professional barbecue chefs will compete for prizes from an $8,000 purse with plates of pork, chicken, ribs and brisket.
In addition, there will be a separate competition for backyard chefs, who will compete for trophies, ribbons and bragging rights.
The Florida BBQ Association sanctioned the Pigz in Z’Hills BBQ competition in 2011, and the event became a state championship contest in 2012. The grand champion of the professional division will receive an invitation to the American Royal National Championships in Kansas City and be entered in the draw for the Jack Daniel’s World Championships in Lynchburg, Tenn.
Since its inception, BBQ and Blues has raised thousands of dollars for local youth and education programs and community services of the chamber.
