A Pasco County sheriff’s deputy was arrested early Saturday and charged with domestic battery, according to the sheriff’s office.
Taylor Wayne McFadden, 25, of Port Richey, is charged with a domestic battery count of causing bodily harm.
He was released Sunday.
Just before 5 a.m. Saturday, McFadden is accused of repeatedly touching his pregnant girlfriend’s stomach. When he was told to stop, he grabbed the woman’s cell phone and began to argue, an arrest report said.
At some point, McFadden grabbed the woman by her right arm, causing two small scratches and pulled her from the bed, deputies said.
The woman, who is pregnant with his child and shares a home in Port Richey, bit McFadden on his right leg below the knee cap to free herself from his grasp.
McFadden left the home and was arrested about an hour later.
McFadden was terminated by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office that day, spokesman Doug Tobin said.
