Odessa woman struck by two vehicles, dies in Lutz
A 21-year-old woman died early this morning in Lutz when she was hit by two vehicles whose drivers did not see her. About 3:25 a.m., Lacey Alane Harrelson, 21, of Odessa, was standing in the center lane of westbound State Road 54, about 200 feet east of Foggy Ridge Parkway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The two drivers — William M. Daiek, 57, of Land O’ Lakes, in a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox, and William Marshall Nance, 26, of Port Richey, in a 2010 Toyota Prius — were westbound when they struck Harrelson, troopers said. Harrelson, who was dressed in dark clothing and not in the crosswalk, died at the scene, the highway patrol said. Neither Daiek, Nance nor their passengers was injured.
