New Port Richey woman dies in Pasco crash
A New Port Richey woman died Wednesday night when she lost control of her car and struck a pickup truck, troopers said. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Marzena Misztal, 45, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Impala south on Moon Lake Road, entering a curve near Lakeview Drive, around 9:20 p.m. when she crossed the center line. The FHP said she lost control and struck a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by Komal Ramcharran, 40, of Holiday. Misztal, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene, the FHP said.Ramcharran and a passenger, 43-year-old Mary E. Welch of New Port Richey, are listed in serious condition, the FHP said. An investigation is ongoing.
