Man posing as alarm system tech in Holiday, deputies say
Pasco County authorities were searching for a man posing as an alarm system technician in a Holiday neighborhood Monday. The suspect, described as a white male with brown eyes, 30-35 years old, 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds, was in the 2200 block of Wind Dr. in Holiday, approaching homes with alarm signs in front. The man, who said he was with “GE,” asked about the alarm systems and offered to upgrade them. He told residents he needed to gain entry into their home in order to do so. When the suspect, wearing a blue shirt and tan shorts, was asked to show his identification, he said he left it in his car, but witnesses told deputies they did not see him in a vehicle.Anyone with information is asked to call the Pasco Sheriff’s Office at (727) 844-7711.
