Man arrested after brawl at Brass Flamingo strip club
A Coral Springs man speeding through the parking lot of the Brass Flamingo strip club after a fight hit several people with his car early Saturday, deputies say. Gino Alfred Dattile, 19, of 4146 NW 90th Ave., was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated battery, three counts of driving under the influence with damage to property or a person and a charge of DUI with no damage, injury or death. The club’s bouncer, Stephen Jacobs, told deputies he went outside to break up a large fight in the parking lot. Jacobs said Dattile and another man got in Dattile’s black Honda Civic. Dattile backed out, striking another vehicle, and drove to the north end of the parking lot.He then turned his car around and drove toward the crowd of about 20 people in front of the club, 9034 U.S. 19, Port Richey, deputies said. As he drove toward the crowd a second time, Jacobs was hit on the right leg. The car also hit a woman, knocking her to the ground, and struck a second woman on a knee, deputies said. The Civic then plowed into two cars. Andrew Grogan, manager of the Brass Flamingo, said that after the crash Dattile and his passenger got out and ran. Grogan chased the passenger, and Jacobs caught Dattile, deputies said. Grogan told deputies Dattile was driving at 30 to 40 mph in the parking lot. Dattile said he was racing back to the area because his brother, Nicholas Dattile, was being assaulted. Jacobs was treated at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. The two women were treated at Medical Center of Trinity. Dattile was still in Land O’ Lakes Jail on Tuesday. Bail was set at $24,100.
