River Ridge junior infielder/pitcher Morgan Tolle has verbally committed to play softball for James Madison, Royal Knights coach Ernie Beck said. "She was really happy about making this decision," Beck said. "I think it's a relief for her. I don't think it will bother her game." Last season, Tolle hit .404 with 32 runs, 26 RBIs, four home runs and five triples. As a pitcher, Tolle was 7-3 and a 1.80 earned-run average with 25 strikeouts.
