SAINT LEO — Fall classes began this week at Saint Leo University, where about 2,250 students were expected to take weekday classes on the university campus.
The fall enrollment includes about 650 freshmen who come from 37 states and 33 countries, the university reported.
Among the changes students are seeing on campus is the newly opened Apartment Building 6, a suite-style student housing facility.
The building was completed a year ago, at the same time as another residential hall that opened last year, but was not immediately put to use.
In addition to the classes on campus, Saint Leo offers online courses and has education centers in seven states, including on many military bases.
