Access Health Care, Spring Hill and Hudson, announced that Jennifer Laman, has relocated her practice to 13235 S.R. 52, Hudson. Laman, who is board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment, is accepting patients from pre-adolescence through geriatrics. Laman received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton, and completed her residency at Largo Medical Center. While serving her residency, Laman was named chief resident of family medicine and chief administrator resident and received the Resident of the Year Award for 2011 and 2012. Call (727) 378-8503. Medical Center of Trinity was awarded a three-year term of accreditation in breast magnetic resonance imaging by the American College of Radiology’s Committee on breast MRI accreditation. Medical Center of Trinity’s 2011 General Electric unit was approved and accredited for a period of three years. The American College of Radiology, headquartered in Reston, Va., awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer review of the practice. Evaluations are conducted by board certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the fields. They assess the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of facility equipment. The surveyors report their findings to the ACR’s Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the hospital with a comprehensive report.
