A body was discovered by hikers inside a Port Richey state park Sunday, according to Pasco County authorities.
The body was found inside Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park, 6641 State Road 52, near Sand Hallow Way in Port Richey. The hikers called deputies at 4:20 p.m., according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
It is not known if foul play was involved in the death, according to the sheriff’s office. No identity was released nor was the sex of the body.
