Armed man robs Pasco credit union

A masked robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash Friday morning from a Pasco County credit union, deputies said.

The man entered the MidFlorida Credit Union, 2255 Collier Parkway, at 10 a.m. with a handgun and demanded money, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.

No one was injured.

The man, who carried a red backpack, fled in a gray Honda CRV with no license plate, deputies said.

Deputies are searching for the him. He was wearing a black mask and dark cap and sportscoat.

Detectives released a surveillance photo of the robber to the public.
