83-year-old driver killed in Pasco collision

An 83-year-old woman was killed this morning in a crash on County Road 77 in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
According to a report, a 2006 Buick LaCrosse driven by the woman was eastbound on Baillie Drive at 11:25 a.m.. Meanwhile, a 2005 Chevrolet pickup driven by Ty A. Wymore, 44, of Largo was traveling south on County Road 77.
The Buick entered the path of the Chevrolet, which hit the right side of the other vehicle, FHP said.
The driver of the Buick and her 84-year-old female passenger, whose names have not been released pending notification of next of kin, were taken to Northbay Hospital, where the driver died of her injuries. The passenger is in serious condition at the hospital, FHP said.
Wymore received minor injuries and was also taken to Northbay Hospital, FHP said.
