TEMPLE TERRACE – Organizers are gearing up for the 25th anniversary of the Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce Business Expo.
The organization’s showcase event is from 3 to 7 p.m. March 4 at the T. Pepin’s Hospitality Centre, 4120 N. 50th St. in Tampa. The Law Office of Jack L. Townsend Sr., P.A. is the title sponsor.
It’s an occasion in which the chamber has signed on some 85 businesses to show their wares in an effort to demonstrate to consumers what the greater Temple Terrace community has to offer.
Attendees also will have an opportunity to sample an array of tempting treats from restaurants in what’s dubbed the Taste of the Terrace.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, Chick-fil-A Temple Terrace, Dunkin Donuts, Emma’s Cakes, Gaspar’s Patio Bar & Grille, Mangrove Grille at Embassy Suites USF, Puff ‘n Stuff Caterings, Taco Son Mexican Grill and Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club are among them.
“We’re basically trying to show the community what businesses are available to them and show businesses how they can do business with other businesses,” said expo chairwoman Charlee Hall, the owner of SerenBe Day Spa who has overseen the event for two consecutive years.
If there were a theme, Hall said, it would be to “Shop Locally,” so as to keep the money in the community.
The entry fee is $5 per person and all paid attendees’ names will be eligible to win a gift of a 39-inch LED TV.
“We hope that the community will come out and support the businesses in the community,” said Dustie Amatangelo, the chamber’s executive director.
