Northeast area dresses up for Halloween

There are a host of spooky lawn displays and pumpkin patches sprinkled throughout New Tampa, Temple Terrace and Thonotosassa. With Halloween approaching, residents have a chance to showcase their creativity by decorating lawns and homes with wacky items such as tombstones and goblins to celebrate the family-fun holiday. Many churches, schools and other service organizations see it as a chance to raise money by holding fall festivals and pumpkin sales. The ancient pagan holiday is a festive event celebrated throughout the world, with activities such as trick-or-treat and costume parties. Ken Knight
