Video leads to arrest of man in break-in at Walgreen's in Lutz
A tip received from surveillance video has led to the arrest of a man on burglary and theft charges in connection with a break-in at a Walgreen's pharmacy in Lutz on Christmas Eve. Hillsborough County deputies say Robert J. Reynolds, 28, unknown address, was charged Thursday after he was recognized in video released from the incident at 3890 Van Dyke Road. Deputies say Reynolds smashed the front glass door of the pharmacy early Monday morning and stole took three cases of beer and two cartons of cigarettes. He returned about two hours later and smashed the window in the pharmacy area. Deputies say Reynolds ran out of the store as the alarm sounded while he was attempting to steal pain medication.
