Truck crash causes traffic delays on I-4
Traffic on eastbound Interstate 4 in Hillsborough County was delayed for about two hours this afternoon after a truck crashed near Milepost 23, the Florida Highway Patrol said. According to a report, about 2:12 p.m., Noel Morales Riano, 23, of Orlando was driving a semi-tractor without trailer on I-4 in the inside lane when traffic ahead of him slowed for unknown reasons. Unable to stop, Riano steered the semi into the median, where the vehicle rotated and collided with a guardrail. The collision slowed eastbound traffic on I-4 for two hours as the vehicle was removed. Riano, who was uninjured, was cited for careless driving, FHP said.
