Toll costs will return to most of Florida's roadways on Thursday after Gov. Rick Scott suspended them in wake of Hurricane Irma two weeks ago.
The tolls on Florida's Turnpike and Florida Department of Transportation bridges and roads will begin charging drivers again on Thursday at 12:01 a.m. The tolls were suspended on Sept. 5 to help ease traffic during the evacuations prompted by Irma.
The Homestead Extension, south of the interchange with State Road 874, will remain toll-free to assist Monroe County with recovery, according to FDOT.
