State will seek death penalty for Schenecker
TAMPA - Prosecutors will seek the death penalty for Julie Schenecker, accused of killing her two teenage children. Prosecutors gave no reason for the decision in a terse notice filed today. Circuit Judge Ashley Moody had given the state until Monday to make its decision. The public defenders representing Schenecker have until Monday to decide whether they will use a form of insanity defense in the case.
