Providence Church is offering a free weekly water-themed Kidís Summer Fun Series that features Biblical stories, worship music and activities for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The group meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Hernando County Shrine Club building at 13400 Montour St.
"We are super excited about our new childrenís ministry program," said Childrenís Ministry director Tim Fogarty.

Brooksville Church of the Nazarene, 19384 Ingram St., will offer vacation Bible school from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays June 20 through August 8. Also, the church will offer Celebrate Recovery from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays beginning June 24 for those needing recovery from hurts, hang-ups and habits. Grace World Outreach Church will host the second annual #1 Man Rally from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23 at Kennedy Park, 899 Kennedy Blvd. The free event is for the family and will include music by Suncoast DJís, basketball, races, a baseball clinic, special events for women and free food.
The special guest will be former NFL football player Tyrone Goodson, founder of Tyrone Goodson Youth and Sports Programs, Inc.
