NBC's 'Today' show to broadcast from University of Tampa Sunday
The "Today" show with Lester Holt, will broadcast 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday from the University of Tampa campus. Holt will also anchor "Nightly News" from campus at 6:30 p.m. Both will be broadcast from Plant Hall's East Verandah. Holt is a familiar face to television viewers and is an undecided voter himself. He will quiz undecided voters here about the upcoming presidential election. He is visiting three big battleground states, starting with Florida, leading up to Election Day.Holt says he is finding many undecided voters here are unhappy with both candidates. However, the network news anchor says he finds it disturbing that some of those undecided say they simply don't plan to vote at all. Holt, undecided himself, says he hopes people take time to get informed. After Sunday's shows, he is headed to Virginia and Ohio. The public is welcome to attend the UT broadcasts, but be warned, parking will be limited.
