Chats With Lorenzo, Agent Exposed In Torture Case

Published: Jan 12, 2007

TAMPA - Within weeks of meeting Steven Lorenzo on the Internet, Scott Schweickert fantasized online with him about drugging and sexually enslaving an unsuspecting victim just before Christmas, according to evidence presented Thursday in Schweickert's trial.

Two months after that conversation, authorities say, Schweickert helped Lorenzo drug, torture and kill two men - Jason Galehouse and Michael Wachholtz - on Dec. 19 and 20, 2003, the weekend before Christmas.

Jurors in Schweickert's federal drug trial were read transcripts of online chats between Schweickert and Lorenzo talking about how to drug and "take" victims.

In one conversation, Schweickert, who uses the computer screen name MstrSCOTT, writes, "Taking someone just before xmas is ideal tho."

Lorenzo, using the name, DomDudeForSub, responds, "Why? Think it plays their minds more?"

"Absolutely," Schweickert writes. "Knowing the entire family is together and he will never be with them again."

"Man you are sadistic," Lorenzo writes. "I would do the same."

Schweickert is standing trial on two federal charges of drug-facilitated crimes of violence and one count of conspiring with Steven Lorenzo.

Lorenzo is serving 200 years in federal prison on identical charges, plus seven additional charges of drug-facilitated crimes of violence against other men.

In addition to chats between Schweickert and Lorenzo, jurors heard about how Drug Enforcement Administration Agent Scott A. Albrecht posed as a member of Schweickert's sadomasochistic subculture and talked to Schweickert in July 2004.

Using the slang G for GHB, the date rape drug, Schweickert coached Albrecht, who went by the screen name SubSkippyTPA.

Schweickert: "I am sure the same people that can get you G can get you roofies."

Albrecht: "I have a friend to entertain tonight, but I may be able to sneak on line ... Right now I am having a hard time getting G or anything, but I'm trying sir"

Schweickert: "When are you going to be able to talk, boy?"

Albrecht: "How do roffies work? My boss walked to another section. I should be alright"

Schweickert: "They are slipped into a drink, once they have taken affect, the person will not remember anything that happens."

Printouts of the online chats between Schweickert and Lorenzo were seized during a search of Lorenzo's home.

In the chats, which began two months before the killings, Schweickert and Lorenzo discuss different ways to "take" unsuspecting men.

In one, Lorenzo wrote: "If looking to take an innocent for a few days to polish up on taking a permanenet one. Would have to be a guy who does not know you who can't locate you later!"

Schweickert: "Then we would be able to take this muscle boy down and turn him into a good little slave … Meeting some guy at a bar and saying hey there is this party I was going to.. .lots of hot girls.. .want to go. I am sure they would jump at the chance."

Lorenzo: "you could most definitely find your boy for permanent ownership where he is unaware that your stalking him and setting him up to vanish."

Schweickert: "Just say I need to swing by the house first. Take them on a winding drive through the city to get there so they are completely confused and then we have him."

Schweickert suggests they go to high school football games and stalk a player or find someone on a college campus. He offers the idea of going after "some kid cutting grass for extra cash."
