Schweickert's Sentencing Set

TAMPA - A federal judge has scheduled Scott Schweickert's sentencing for April 30.
Schweickert was convicted Friday night of one count of conspiracy with Steven Lorenzo and one count of administering the drug GHB with intent to commit a crime of violence against Michael Wachholtz.
The jury acquitted Schweickert of the GHB charge involving Jason Galehouse.
The prosecution said Schweickert teamed up with Lorenzo in December 2003 to drug, torture and kill Wachholtz and Galehouse on successive nights.
Schweickert faces up to 40 years in federal prison when he is sentenced by U.S. District Judge Steven D. Merryday. Lorenzo is serving 200 years on charges he administered GHB to nine men with intent to commit a crime of violence and that he conspired with Schweickert.
The Hillsborough State Attorney's Office says it is investigating whether to bring murder charges against both Lorenzo and Schweickert.
