It's not just any Friday

Christians and Jews marked significant days on their religious calendars Friday. Joseph Stevens of First United Methodist Church of Lutz portrayed Christ in downtown Tampa in a dramatic re-enactment of the Good Friday events in which Christ was crucified and died on a cross at Calvary. At Weinberg Village in Tampa, residents and their guests gathered for a symbolic Seder meal, traditionally held on the first night of the eight-day Passover observance, which commemorates when the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt.
